Compare images from page one to page two. On page one is the original image (MPEG-2 I-Frame), on the second is a JPG (560x420px, 118973 colors, 20kB). How good the image looks on page two, depends on the STB's number of supported on-screen-display (OSD) colors. Some STB's support only MHP minimum palette (188 non-transparent colors). In that case the result can be quite awful...
