Browser is a versatile Internet browser-like application,
which can be utilized to show multiple content types in
digital television. Browser has tools to provide super
teletext service in the simplest form, but it can also
be used to provide rich and truly interactive content
through the return channel.
Browser is able to launch other MHP applications so it can be used as a combined application launcher and information portal. On the server side there are various content conversion tools that transform the existing content to suit digital television.
The content is pure DVB-HTML so the portal makes it possible to generate new interactive services on the current MHP Set Top Boxes using standard-based authoring and workflow tools.
